"The Hike Support and Hike Cushion are both needed but for different purposes and are appropriately names for what you're looking for. If you need more cushion in your shoes or boots, go with the cushion. If you want more support, go with the support insoles. If you don't need either, the cushion will enhance the cushioning in your boots and the support will enhance the support of your stiff boots. I will say that the Hike support cushion overall is thicker than the cushion ones. Also, the hike cushion and run cushion are not the same. The orange foam is thicker in the toe area and thinner in the heel for the hike cushion, the run cushion is opposite (thicker heel, thinner toe)."

Are these good for around 5 miles trail running? I’m 6ft tall 180 lbs male and use trail running shoes. If not what do you recommend?: ADAPT Hike Max is a great option for trail running! I have the green insoles in my old school, Italian leather hiking boots. But think the insoles raises my heel enough so it slips a lot.
